Every summer we open our studio to two design undergraduates, or even on occasion school pupils, who show particular aptitude for graphic design and would benefit from hands-on experience in a real studio.

Interns are briefed on live jobs and encouraged to work on the most up to date programmes across a range of disciplines including branding work, print work and websites.

Applications are invited from tutors, family and friends as well as from applicants themselves. Internships last for a fortnight and two are available over the summer, one in July and one in August. There is a formal interview process, which will be held by mid-June in Southwold.

Internships are not paid but interns may take copies of their work as studio-quality prints and PDF for a folio; interns will also receive a reference from Spring's creative director should their time at Spring prove successful.
